I love the colors in this video! The animators were very careful in making sure that they used bright colors, colors that would bring the books to life as well as the viewer. As a viewer, watching the colors move all around made me happy.
The music brought me to life as well. The dynamics of the music seemed to tell a story in itself, through the tunes. The music gave me a sort of Tim Burton kind of vibe, creepy, yet quirky, but I liked it.
The broader picture and bigger message of this video is the books. The books in it show many of the varieties and genres books come in, the big books, the small books, the colorful books, the plain books, etc. It shows the joy they bring (represented generally and more specifically where the two books are dancing together), and the pleasure they entertain us with (represented in the little book reading the bigger book and cannot stop turning the pages).
I think showing the bookstore at night and ending the video in the morning shows that books never sleep. They are up whenever you are willing to read them. Their batteries do not fail and their words cannot change. Books are timeless and like the last book shown and the powerful message it conveys, "There is nothing quite like a real book." I could not agree more.
